REFER200 reward timeline

  1. Day 0
    Sign up with REFER200

Open your Tide business account with the REFER200 referral attached. Complete identity checks.

  2. Day 1–7
Deposit £5,000 into Tide Instant Saver

Move £5,000 into Tide Instant Saver within seven days of opening to complete the £125 cashback step.

  3. Day 1–30
Spend £100 on the Tide card

Complete £100 of qualifying Tide card transactions within 30 days of opening to complete the £75 cashback step.

  4. Day 30
Keep the £5,000 saver balance in place

Keep the £5,000 balance in place for the 30-day hold so you stay on track for the £125 cashback step.

  5. After validation
    Complete your REFER200 journey

Once both steps are complete, Tide reviews the qualifying activity and credits the relevant cashback where the offer conditions apply.

Complete the two steps within the published timeframes, then allow Tide time to review the qualifying activity under the current offer terms.

Why the timeline matters

The two rewards are scored independently, but each one has a hard window. If the £5,000 doesn't land in Instant Saver before day 7, the £125 portion is lost — even if you deposit £10,000 on day 8. The same applies to the £100 card spend at day 30.

If you can only do one step

The £75 card-spend step is the easiest to hit, because £100 of business spend in a month is realistic for most users. The £125 saver step needs £5,000 of free cash you can lock for a month. Use the offer calculator to model your situation.

What if Tide hasn't paid you yet?

Cashback is paid after Tide validates your activity. If you completed the steps and haven't been paid, see cash back not received.

What to record before contacting Tide

Build a simple timeline from the account-opening date, card spend settlement dates and Instant Saver milestones. The calculator is an advisory planning aid only; Tide controls the actual qualification and review timetable.

  • The date your account opened and the date you applied.
  • A screenshot of the referral or promotion field, if one was shown.
  • Relevant transaction, deposit or account-timeline dates and amounts.
  • The exact question you need Tide to answer, without assuming an outcome.

Keep the record for your own follow-up. Tide decides account approval, promotion eligibility and any reward validation. For related checks, see the cashback help hub and the current REFER200 status page.

Frequently asked questions

Does the 7-day saver clock start at signup or at approval?+

Tide's timer typically starts when your account is opened (approved and active). Apply early in the day to avoid losing hours to overnight processing.

Can I split the £5,000 across several deposits?+

Yes — what matters is that the £5,000 balance is reached within 7 days and held for 30 days. A single transfer is the safest way to evidence it.

Do ATM withdrawals count toward the £100 card spend?+

Tide's terms generally exclude ATM withdrawals from qualifying spend. See what counts as Tide card spend for a full breakdown.

How long after day 30 will I receive the cashback?+

Tide doesn't publish a fixed payment date. Allow a reasonable validation window after the 30-day point. If nothing has arrived, contact Tide support.
